La Grande Dame is a tribute to the Widow Clicquot, once called “La Grande Dame de la Champagne”. This exceptional cuvée is assembled exclusively with grapes from eight Grand Crus of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and matured for a minimum of eight yearsbefore release. The weather before the 2004 harvest was especially mild, ensuring that the grapes were perfectly ripe and healthy, with fruity and full-bodied Pinot Noir wines and elegant Chardonnays.
