Liqueur Drambuie is a unique composition of aged single malt Scotch whiskey, heather honey and herbal infusions. The recipe was created in 1892, originally made as a medicinal drink with extracts of anise, saffron (gives the drink a golden color), nutmeg and other herbs. It was believed that taking a small amount of liquor on a daily basis increases stamina and the strength of the body, so this spirit was very popular. Nowadays it is also highly valued for its elegant bouquet with hints of honey, cloves, nutmeg and mountain herbs and mild, deep flavor with bright accents of honey and cinnamon. Whiskey liqueur Drambuie ages for 12-15 years. Ii`s rcommended to serve this liquor as digestive with the coffee.
